Carl Harvey – Managing Director

Carl comes from a family background in carpentry and has always been keen to pursue this type of career.

He came to Design Dimensions on the Project Trident work scheme, after 3 weeks working alongside the team he was certain that he had made the right decision, and was lucky enough to be offered an apprenticeship.

Since that day he has gained Advanced City and Guilds along with Advanced Institute of Carpenters qualification.

Carl became Managing Director of Design Dimensions Limited with Luke at his side as Director in August 2019.

Luke Tomkins – Director

Luke joined Design Dimensions back in 2000 as an apprentice Carpenter. Prior to joining the Company, Luke previously worked for Design Dimensions on the Project Trident work scheme in 1999.

Luke has also spent time with other Joinery Companies and decided to return to Design Dimensions to help Carl take over the Business from Ken when he takes a back seat in early 2019. In total Luke has worked for Design Dimensions for 15 years.

Rolo – CEO

Rolo is a long standing member of the team. If you are popping in for a meeting to see Ken or just in the office he will be around.

He likes lots of treats!

Derek Johnston – Site Manager

Derek served his apprenticeship in Newcastle where he attended the College of Arts and Technology. He came over to Jersey in 1981 and joined Design Dimensions in 1994.

After spending 7 years at Design Dimensions, Derek decided to go and work for Paul Haslam Limited, manufacturing and fitting Kitchens until the unfortunate closure in early 2016.

Derek then returned to Design Dimensions in late 2016 as Site Manager.

Vicki Le Rossignol – Designer

Vicki joined Design Dimensions in September 2016. She has a creative talent turning Client’s ideas and dreams into reality, as you will see from the various pictures on the website of her bespoke designs.

Vicki studied textile and design at Manchester Metropolitan University and has also been shadowing Ken over the years to gain experience in designing and understanding the trade.

Lauren Pallot – Office

Lauren joined us in November 2018 and does the bookkeeping, payroll and general administration in the office.

She has a BA Hons degree in Business Management from the University of Liverpool, but spent the last 12 years in the Finance industry and decided to make a bold career move to join a small firm and use the skills she acquired at University into practice.
